I don't know about you, but there are a few things that have kept me sane over the last month and a half.  One is the Trail for walking, running or biking.  Another is the fact that Real Estate is considered an essential business, so showing many vacant homes in new neighborhoods accessible without traffic has been a great diversion.  A third has been the family time with far fewer distractions, and a Doctor husband who has been home a bit.  And of course rescheduling a wedding, has kept me busy.  As it turns out, a nice smaller event would have been possible in Austin, but most guests and the bride and groom (from NY, CA and Atlanta)  would have been in quarantine,   Ha Ha.  So that didn't work!

The real estate stats are tracking along, and there will be a big hiccup in the Spring of 2020 when we can look back, but there are many smart buyers who still need homes and are happy to compete with fewer people to get them.  For info on your particular situation, give me a call or send an email.

As we enter a new month, we look forward to the promise of new opportunities to celebrate the strength and resiliency of our nation and local communities.

We are all in this together, and we are here to support you.

A COVID-19

Home Purchase

We toured vacant homes with masks, gloves and disinfectant, at a safe distance. Inspections were all done with only one person present. We closed at the vacant home with a card table and chairs, and a mobile notary. And we did not compete with other offers! Happy first home to this great couple.

The New Grove Development Location

The new Grove Development could be a great addition to the 45th and Shoal Creek area.  It remains to be seen, as without knowing the retail/ restaurant roster, there is not enough info yet available.  This is an area that I have spent much time driving in the last month to become more familiar with the walkable and bike friendly lifestyle that might become reality in that area.   Give me a call or sent a text if you have interest in learning more about the Grove or that area of town.   512-573-8851.
